ACT Deafness Resource Centre

The ACT Deafness Resource Centre (DRC) is a not-for-profit community organisation that provides information, support, reassurance, advocacy and referrals for people who are deaf or have a hearing impairment and for those who have loved ones with hearing loss. We promote understanding of hearing loss through education, advice and increased community awareness.

A drop-in opportunity exists for service users to access immediate assistance for their hearing issues. This service provides our clients with a one-on-one consultation to discuss their hearing loss. This enables us to provide our clients with information and advice tailored to their specific hearing loss requirements, empowering them to manage their hearing loss as effectively as possible.

The DRC also sells equipment that can make your hearing life easier, such as personal microphone systems, smoke alarms, vibrating alarm clocks, video doorbells, flash alert units and much more. Some of this equipment is available to trial before you purchase, enabling you to make a more informed decision on what equipment works for you.

Our new Online store enables you to view all our available equipment and to make a purchase with ease.
